In my back yard

I do not ever want to become so blind to my surroundings that I do not recognize the beauty that is around me every day. Though I had an awful couple of months, I am trying to see what is around me and find the beauty in it. I am trying to be with camera at all times. It is hard sometimes to even get out of bed, but I know I must.

The camera has become my best therapist. the images are what I see and how I see them. I have found beauty in the people around me as well as what is in my own back yard. The Atlantic ocean. Thought I would share.

Presently she is a member of the Marblehead Artist Association, Salem Arts Association, Artists Under the Dome initiative, working for the rights of Artists and is involved with the Copyright Alliance which is “committed to promoting the cultural and economic benefits of copyright…”

Photo Shoot preview

I had a beautiful shoot with a very tired little girl. One of my best friends from high school came with her daughter and we had a fun time in the studio. Here is a preview.

Photo A Day - Jan30 - Nature

The second to last of the series "A Photo A Day" in January. This has been tough to stay on top of. Mainly because it started to feel like homework and I have mot missed that.

But, the thing that is important is to realize I should always have my camera with me. NOW.. I do!

One more Jan 31 is for "you again". Sigh... MAYBE I will do a self portrait, but.. it is a tough thing!

I NOW have food inside of the fridge also, but I do have film still.. What can I say?
The day called to shoot what is in the fridge.. Chocolate syrup and film and paper.. Though I can say, no more nail polish!

I have a slight addiction to blue glass. And when the option was color for one of the photos; I was thrilled to play with one of my "collection".
